Distilled spirits sales increased 2.5% in control states to 50.4 million cases in 2017, according to the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA). It’s the first time ever that spirits volume has exceeded 50 million cases in control jurisdictions, although last year’s gain represented a slight slowdown from 2016’s 2.8% increase.
