    SC House passes bill to allow alcohol delivery

    COLUMBIA, S.C. -- A bill allowing alcohol delivery to South Carolina homes now heads to the state Senate.

    The legislation would let people over 21 order beer, wine or liquor directly from retailers or through third-party apps like Doordash and Uber Eats.

    Hawai'i Advocates Push for Stricter Alcohol Laws to Safeguard Roads

    In a steadfast attempt to curb alcohol-related traffic fatalities in Hawai'i, the Hawai'i Alcohol Policy Alliance (HIAPA) and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) have rallied once again to propose a legislation that could lower the legal blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level from 0.08% to 0.05% for drivers. This marks the fourth year in a row that these organizations have pushed for this significant change.

    Gov. Stitt approves emergency alcohol rule for restaurant staff tastings

    Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed an emergency rule into effect allowing specific licensed businesses to hold educational staff alcohol tastings on site.

    The rule passed by Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission in a special meeting last week, was written as the result of concerns from the Oklahoma Restaurant Association and others in the hospitality industry, following a citation at local fine dining restaurant Mahogany.
