Oregon Lawmakers, Dispensaries Respond To Marijuana Policy Change

EUGENE, Ore. – Attorney General Jeff Sessions is getting rid of the current marijuana policy that prevents the federal government from interfering with states that have legalized the drug, and that has many people in Oregon talking.

Michigan wine industry council adds 8 producers to list

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The number of wineries in Michigan continues to rise.

The Michigan Grape & Wine Industry Council says it has added eight producers to the list of wineries it promotes, bringing the statewide total to 138. That’s up from 49 in 2007.

Mid-Michigan residents react to changes in underage drinking law

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -The new year came with what many consider a controversial change to a state law - giving underage drinkers a second chance.

Minors caught with booze would be charged with a civil infraction instead of a misdemeanor.

Wyoming Highway Patrol data shows decline in alcohol-related crashes

Alcohol-related crashes appear to have dropped on Wyoming highways in 2017 compared to years prior, but by how much is not yet clear.

Preliminary data from the Wyoming Highway Patrol indicates that the number of alcohol-related crashes in the state dropped by 24 percent, from 712 in 2016 to 542 last year.

Ohio's 'Last Call' campaign delists hundreds of liquor bottles

CLEVELAND, Ohio – It’s last call for hundreds of bottles of liquor sold in Ohio.

Beginning this week, the Ohio Department of Commerce is delisting about 700 items in its Last Call campaign, and that means consumers will have access to a clearinghouse of booze at discounted prices.
