Virginia Bill Would Create Limited Liquor License For Cigar Shops

A bill making its way through the Virigina General Assembly would create a new, limited liquor license for retail cigar shops, though with some very notable restrictions and emphasis on the word limited.

County Liquor Exec Fires Back at Group’s Call To Exit Alcohol Business

Bill introduced to reform Idaho's liquor license laws

BOISE — The Senate State Affairs Committee on Wednesday introduced legislation that would completely reform Idaho’s liquor license laws to address the state’s steep license prices, while also imposing additional requirements on restaurants serving alcohol.

Advocates of Idaho liquor license reform are hopeful a new legislative bill will hit the spot

Bardenay owner Kevin Settles is optimistic about legislation that would reform Idaho's liquor licensing. Among other changes the bill, similar to one he helped craft in 2009, would give more latitude to city and county governments.

In the new Utah legislature: the future of 3.2 beer
