Could liquor stores be a solution to Colorado’s food deserts?

“There are lots of inner-city parts of the state, as well as rural parts of the state, where there is no grocery store for miles and miles,” the Republican lawmaker from Henderson said. “But liquor stores are everywhere.”

Missouri's Major Brands alcohol distributor to be sold to larger company

Breakthru Beverage Group is purchasing St. Louis-based Major Brands. The deal is expected to be done this spring.

Drunk driving case raises consent issues

It is established case law that someone suspected of drunk driving must consent before a blood test can be performed on them, for the safety of both the individual and the medical personnel performing the blood draw.

Kentucky Supreme Court ruling may make it more difficult to prosecute drunk driving

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that could limit the state's drunk driving laws.
