    Medical marijuana laws hit alcohol sales

    Alcohol sales have fallen by 15% in US states where medical marijuana has been legalised, according to research from the University of Connecticut and Georgia State University.

    Researchers from the two universities analysed the alcohol sales in states where medical marijuana has been legalised, comparing it to those in which the drug is still outlawed.

    Kennesaw brewery could be first beer and liquor producer in state

    MARIETTA — The Kennesaw City Council will vote whether or not to allow Dry County Brewing to become the first brewery in the state to also produce liquor.
    Dry County currently produces a line of craft beers, but they have plans to expand their product line to include spirits.
