    New Florida Law Taxes Sake as Wine Rather Than Beer

    Beginning July 1, sake will be taxed higher, as a wine rather than a beer. The tax hike stems from House Bill 689, which Gov. Rick Scott signed into law last week.

    The biennial Report on Underage and High-Risk Drinking looks at current levels and trends of underage and college drinking and looks at prevention strategies by state and local agencies.
