    'Underground network': Meck ABC cracks down on illegal rare bourbon sales

    CHARLOTTE - The Mecklenburg County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and North Carolina ABC Commission are unveiling the results of "Operation High Octane." The year-long undercover operation targeted the illegal sale of liquor. In North Carolina, it is illegal to sell alcohol on the secondary market.

    Columbus County commissioners approve alcohol sales referendum for November ballot

    COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Columbus County commissioners voted 6-1 Monday night to place a referendum on the November ballot asking voters whether to allow alcohol sales in unincorporated areas of the county.

    WVABCA Underage drinking prevention PSA contest winners

    Charleston - The West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration (WVABCA) is excited to announce Wirt County High School as the first-place winner of the 13th annual NO School Spirits Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest. This year, the contest received 46 video PSAs from nearly 350 students, all focused on the dangers of underage drinking and drinking and driving.
