    TABC says minors are legally allowed in bars, clubs in wake of Level Night Club shooting

    LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission told EverythingLubbock.com that people under the age of 21 can enter a bar. Chris Porter, a spokesperson for TABC, said in a phone interview on Thursday that there is no violation unless a minor is served alcohol.

    About 77 percent of e-cigarette users say they believe vaping is healthier than smoking cigarettes and 60 percent say it is healthier than drinking alcohol.

    "In 36 years, I've carried way too many bodies out of road ditches," Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens said. A new study found that Iowa has the nation's 16th highest rate of drunk driving arrests. Iowa's rate of DUI/OWI arrests in 2018 was 375.2 per 100,000. The national average was 330 per 100,000.

    Oklahoma City, OK - The Oklahoma Attorney General said a law requiring liquor store owners to live in the state is likely unconstitutional. In an opinion, A.G. Mike Hunter said the law in the state constitution requiring liquor store owners and wholesalers to have lived in the state for at least five years is unenforceable.
