    The state of Ohio is retiring 700 liquor brands including Patron XO Dark coffee liqueur, Pinnacle gin, Admiral Nelson spiced rum and just about any type of flavored vodka imaginable in order to free up shelf space for new stock.

    Iowa needs a higher, not lower, tax on beer in new year

    In the new year, you’ll be paying less tax to tipple.  The new tax law passed by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump will cut excise taxes on beer, wine and distilled spirits over the next two years. It’s especially generous for craft brewers, cutting the federal excise tax from $7 to $3.50 per barrel.
