    The results of a new study into the relationship between food and wine will be unveiled at wine2wine Business Forum in Verona on 14 November 2023. Amongst the key findings are the importance of the food menu over the wine list and a strong consumer preference for simpler wine lists and lower pricing.     A growing number of US states are working to loosen child labor laws so your next bartender could be an underage teenager

    Bars in various states across the country may be staffed by high schoolers as more lawmakers and businesses push to lower the legal age to serve alcohol and bartend.

    There are at least nine states -- including Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, New Mexico, Alabama, Wisconsin, and Idaho -- that have enacted or introduced laws that would allow minors ages 14 to 17 to serve alcohol, according to a report from Economic Policy Institute.

According to The Wall Street Journal, this is just one aspect of a nationwide move "to expand access to booze by changing alcohol regulations--some of which date to the end of Prohibition--that were suspended in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic."
