ARLINGTON, VA (March 10, 2020) -- With the evolving global impact of COVID-19 which has impacted government and industry travel, as well as concern for its members, customers, partners, friends, and employees, The National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) has decided to cancel its 27th Annual Legal Symposium. The event was scheduled for March 15-17 at the Ritz Carlton, Arlington, Virginia.

It was a difficult decision to make. The Association considered many factors and took action for what it believes to be prudent to protect the health and wellbeing of Legal Symposium attendees, speakers, vendors, and its staff.
As a result of this decision, NABCA will automatically cancel and fully refund all paid registrations. To minimize financial impact on registrants, the Association also encourages taking the following actions:

  • Legal Symposium registrants who booked hotel rooms at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City need to go to Marriott.com to cancel their own reservations. They may also contact the hotel, providing their reservation number and last name, at 703-415-5000 or 1-800-422-2410. Please note that fees are refundable if canceled within the 72-hour period.

  • Legal Symposium registrants who booked air travel to attend the event need to contact their respective carrier regarding their own ticket.

While this is an unfortunate development, NABCA is confident it has made the right decision for all involved in this event. We will look forward to your attendance and participation in our Legal Symposium in 2021.  Should you have additional questions, please email us at nabca.info@nabca.org.
